The National Park free entrance days for 2017 have been announced! The National Park Service offers 413 amazing sites throughout the United States.  There is over 80 million acres of beauty to explore. For 10 special days during 2017 entrance fees will be waived for all park visitors. Let the road trip planning begin!

Mark your calendars!

  • Jan. 16: Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • Feb. 20: Presidents Day
  • April 15-16 & April 22-23: National Park Week weekends
  • Aug. 25: National Park Service birthday
  • Sept. 30: National Public Lands Day
  • Nov. 11-12: Veterans Day weekend

 

Camping fees are applicable everyday of the year. We recommend to reserving your campsites ahead of time. Everyone loves the National Parks and campgrounds book up quickly.  For more information about camping visit the National Park website to plan your visit.  We also recommend checking out State Parks along your route. They are definitely worth seeing and often have great campgrounds.

Booking ahead will keep you savvy- check out rates and availability here.  Here is a quick tip for your planning: Off season travel offers the lowest rate of the year. You also deal with less crowd in the parks. Check out January- March and October-December and get more vacation for your money.
